Two-part all-weather seal for wind turbine blade root and bearing

A wind turbine has three variable-pitch blades mounted on a hub at the top of a mast. Each propeller blade has roller bearings. The interface between the blade root and bearing within the hub is surrounded by a first protective shell ring of non-corroding material. The interface between the shell and the adjoining components is protected by an overlapping elastic shell seal.
