<p>Emissive coatings for flexible substrates, preferably elastomers or elastomers bonded to metal are disclosed. The coating composition is formed by combining parts (a) and (b) where part (a) comprises an organic solution or aqueous dispersion of a functional group containing polymer or copolymer and thermal conductive filler; and part (b) comprises a liquid curing component, for example a poly isocyanate, a carbodiimide, or an amino resin. The coating compounds can be applied to an substrate either before or after the substrate has been vulcanized. The coatings can be cured at ambient temperatures and provide heat dissipation over long term service at elevated temperatures.</p> |
