<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake operation detector which can provide a load detecting means to detect the brake operation in a fixed condition on a base part side of a brake pedal, ensure the durability of a sensor harness, reduce the cost by simplifying a structure, improve the reliability by reducing the number of hysteresis elements, keep the small motion of a load transmission unit to be in a predetermined direction, and correctly detect the brake operation. <P>SOLUTION: An upper end part of a movable bracket 3 is pivotably supported by a pivot 36 turnably at least by a very small amount on a part in the vicinity of the line to connect a bearing cylinder 11 on a brake pedal 1 and a pivotably supporting part 13 of a reaction spring 5, and a load applying unit 34 is provided in a condition abutted on a load sensor 4. A part of the bearing cylinder 11 is movable by at least a very small amount only in the direction (the direction of the load sensor 4) substantially opposite to the operating direction of an operation pedal part 12 around the pivotably supporting part 13 of the reaction spring 5 in the brake pedal 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
