<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight insulating castable refractory which can be subjected to wet spraying operation, and has heat insulating properties close to those of an insulating board. <P>SOLUTION: The lightweight insulating castable refractory contains hollow balls consisting of the property of silica in the raw material, and has a thermal conductivity of ≤0.1 w/(mk) and a bulk density after drying of 0.3 to 0.6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
