PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical agent cylinder for a septic tank capable of certainly and evenly dissolving a chemical agent without clogging a sewage outflow port with the chemical agent, usable for various chemical agents different in size, capable of coping even with a case such that the flow rate of sewage is temporarily increased and easy to replenish the chemical agent. SOLUTION: The outer cylinder 1 arranged in the disinfection chamber of the septic tank comprises an upwardly opened cylindrical part 2 and a bottom part 3, and a cleaned water outflow hole 4 is formed to the lower part of the cylindrical part 2. An inner cylinder 6 is vertically provided in the outer cylinder 1 and the space between the outer cylinder 1 and the inner cylinder 6 becomes a chemical agent housing space A for housing the chemical agent B such as a solid chlorine agent or the like. The upper end opening of the inner cylinder 6 becomes a sewage inflow port 6A and a large number of sewage outflow holes 7, 7, etc., are formed to the lower end of the inner cylinder 6 so as to be spaced apart from each other in a peripheral direction.
