PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mineral water making apparatus capable of enhancing the sanitation control of mineral water of an outlet chamber or the downstream pipeline of the outlet chamber. SOLUTION: The mineral water making apparatus is constituted so that an upstream inlet chamber 13 having a chlorine generator 15 arranged thereto and a downstream outlet chamber 14 receiving mineral water passed through a mineral elution part 12 are provided so as to hold the mineral elution part 12 arranged in a water tank 11 between both chambers. In this apparatus, a bypass pipe 16 for guiding the water in the inlet chamber 13 to the outlet chamber 4 so as to bypass the mineral elution part 12 is provided. By this constitution, when mineral water is made, water containing effective chlorine in the inlet chamber 13 passes through the mineral elution part 12 to make mineral water and this mineral water flows out to the outlet chamber 4. On the other hand, a part of the water in the inlet chamber 13 directly flows to the outlet chamber 14 through the bypass pipe 16. As a result, the water containing effective chlorine is mixed with mineral water lowered in the concentration of effective chlorine to hold the sanitation of the outlet chamber 14.
