PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microprocessor-supported sewing machine control system to be flexibly applied for controlling a sewing machine driving motor and other electric motors controlled depending on or independently of the position of rotation. SOLUTION: The control system comprises an open loop control unit for controlling motors independently of the rotation position, a closed loop control unit for controlling motors depending on the rotation position, and a selection unit; and the control system is allocated to each electric motor. The selection unit controls/connects either the closed loop control unit or the open loop control unit by the electric motor according to whether the electric motor is controlled by the closed loop control depending on the rotation position or by the open loop control independent of the rotation position.
