<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle on an opposite lane from being dazzled by realizing an exact deflection control of a lamp in an adaptive lighting system (AFS) for following up and changing an irradiating direction of lamp light corresponding to a traveling state of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This lighting system for the vehicle is provided with a lamp deflection angle control means for changing and controlling a deflection angle of the irradiating direction of the lamp 30 corresponding to the traveling state of the vehicle. The lamp deflection angle control means 2 and 4 are provided with means 45 and 5 for setting the irradiating direction of the lamp 30 to a reference position set in advance when an ignition switch S2 is made an ON state. By setting the irradiating direction of the lamp 30 to the reference position when an electric system of the vehicle is turned on and lighting of the vehicle is made possible, dazzling for the vehicle on the opposite lane, etc., due to lighting light of the lamp 30 can be prevented when subsequently turning on the lamp 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
