摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing optically active propargyl alcohols by which the yields and enantioselectivities (optical yield ee) of the objective optically active propargyl alcohols become high and volume efficiency and atom efficiency also becomes high. SOLUTION: This method for producing the optically active propargyl alcohols is carried out as follows. An aldehyde compound represented by formula (1) R<SP>1</SP>-CHO (1) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>denotes an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an alkylsilyl group, or the like) is reacted with an alkyne compound represented by formula (2) HC≡C-R<SP>2</SP>(2) (wherein, R<SP>2</SP>denotes an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an alkylsilyl group, an aromatic hydrocarbon group, or the like) in the presence of optically active aminoalcohols, tertiary amines and a zinc halogenated lower alkanesulfonate in an equimolar amount or less without or in a solvent in a weight of≤10 times the aldehyde compound represented by formula (1).
