PURPOSE: A method of preparing a hollowed knot article having an oriental shape and a characteristic three dimensional shape is provided which does not affect the gloss and the quality of the knot body as well as increases the 3-D hollowed visual effect thereof. CONSTITUTION: This knot article is prepared by the following process: forming a loose knot(10) limiting a vacant space(13) with thread(11); covering a soluble filler with a protective material such as a polyester film and inserting the filler into the vacant space; tightening the thread to maintain the loose knot to be in a tightened state; coating a shape-fixing liquid on the tightened knot to fix the contour of the tightened knot; and pouring a solvent into a filler through the protective material to dissolve the filler and discharging the dissolved filler and protective material from the vacant space to form a hollowed knot.
