PURPOSE: A device for detecting the position of a draw bar unit is provided to detect the state of a tool mounted on the draw bar unit by using an LC oscillation circuit and detecting the position of the draw bar unit. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic core(54) is installed at the end of a draw bar unit(50). A coil(56) is coiled around the outer circumference of the core. An LC oscillator(58) is connected to the coil, and generates frequency which is varied according to the variation of the inductance of the coil. A position detection unit(60) is connected to the LC oscillator, and detects the position of the draw bar unit according to the frequency. |
