FERTILIZER MATERIALS AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: Fertilizer materials are provided to improve growth environment for marine resource and productivity due to elution of iron ions by adding diatomite and iron sulfate to a substrate such as steel slag or concrete. CONSTITUTION: The fertilizer granules are produced by mixing 65-95wt.% of steel slag or concrete waste as a substrate with less than 5wt.% of diatomite functioning as a binder and 5-35wt.% of iron sulfate(including more than 80wt.% of FeSO4·7H2O) offering iron ions required to absorption of nutrients contained in seawater for the growth of seaweeds, and pressure-forming to a shape of sphere, cylinder or oval at 55-80deg.C.
