<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items by fitting a sheathing material regardless of size of wire harness. <P>SOLUTION: The sheathing material is made of a synthetic resin. A recess 11 and a projection 12 are alternately and continuously provided in an X direction over the front. A thin hinge section 13 that is continuous to the recess 11 and the projection 12 in the X direction is provided. At the same time, a flat sheathing material 10 where the thin hinge 13 is formed at a required pitch in a Y direction is provided. The sheathing material 10 for the wire harness is cut in a rectangular shape to the length of a section requiring protection of a wire harness W/H and thickness of wire harness, is flexed by the thin hinge section 13, and is wound around the wire harness W/H.
