<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the processing efficiency of a transaction medium by extracting a transaction medium from a stacker while receiving the transaction medium from an insertion port, and quickening a time since the transaction medium is inserted until the reading is started. <P>SOLUTION: The transaction medium processor 1 is provided with a carriage path 4 for carrying a transaction medium 30 inserted from an insertion port, a stacker 8 for housing the transaction medium 30, a magnetic write head 5 for recording information in the transaction medium 30, a magnetic read head 66 for reading information recorded in the transaction medium 30, and a print head 7 for printing information on the transaction medium 30. The information recorded by the transaction medium 30 is read by the magnetic read head 6 while the transaction medium 30 is carried in a positive direction, and then the transaction medium 30 is carried to the inverse direction from the magnetic write head 5 to an insertion port 3, and the information is recorded by the magnetic write head 5 while the transaction medium 30 is carried to the positive direction, and the information is read by the magnetic read head 5, and the information is printed on the print head 7, and ejected to the stacker 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
