PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multivariate analysis system capable of providing the accurate analysis by effectively reducing the influence of bias error and the influence of the data having a variate of approximately 0 in the multivariate analysis, in particular, the comprehensive expression profile analysis, and to provide an expression profile analysis method capable of being realized by a computer. SOLUTION: The variate for analysis composed of the first data and the second data inputted from an image reading part 11 is classified on the basis of a classification reference value by a variate correction part 31. A corrected variate calculating part 32 calculates the difference between a logarithmic ratio of the first data and the second data, and a correction term as the corrected variate by using the classified variate for analysis, and the corrected variate is analyzed by a variate analyzing part 23. Further a coefficient of correlation may be calculated from the corrected variable to be used to analyze the correlation relationship between experiment systems. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
