ELECTRODE FOR SOLID OXIDE TYPE FUEL CELL AND SOLID OXIDE TYPE FUEL CELL

An electrode for a solid oxide type fuel cell, characterized by having a skeleton (11) composed of a three-dimensional net-like-structure porous sintered body consisting of an oxide ion conductive material and/or an oxide ion mixed conductive material, particles (12) each consisting of an electron conductive material and/or an oxide ion mixed conductive material being deposited on the surface of this skeleton, the particles being filled into and baked to the insides of cavities (13) in the porous sintered body. This electrode has significantly improved electrode characteristics, and significantly reduced thermal impact and thermal strain. This electrode is preferably used in a configuration of being formed integrally with an electrolyte on one or both surfaces of a solid electrolyte layer dense in oxide ion conductivity.
