PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct magnetic shielding for a magnetic field such as a transmission line magnetic field or the like at a low cost that corresponds to magnetic shielding performance to be obtained. SOLUTION: Magnetic shielding surfaces 12, 13 opposed to each other are magnetically coupled by a magnetic shielding surface 14, and a space 11 magnetically shielded is surrounded by a magnetic circuit which is not a closed circuit in a non-cylindrical state. As a non-cylindrical structure, for example, a sectional U-shape may be formed. The surfaces 12, 13 and 14 are aligned with high permeability directions preferably by using directional silicon steel sheets to form the magnetic circuit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
