PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the supplying efficiency of high frequency signals to an accelerating cavity. SOLUTION: A high frequency accelerating device 5 is equipped with the accelerating cavity 3 and a high frequency signal supplying device 6, wherein the high frequency signal supplying device 6 is furnished with high frequency transmission paths 8A and 8B and phase/amplitude control devices 7A and 7B. Each high frequency transmission path 8A/8B has a waveguide tube 14 furnished with a phase shifter 30, modulator 31, semiconductor amplifier 12, and four-pole vacuum tube 3. The high frequency signals propagate in the high frequency transmission paths 8A and 8B, and on the way, are amplified by the semiconductor amplifiers 12 and four-pole vacuum tubes 13 to be supplied to the accelerating cavity 3. A phase control device 32 and an amplitude control device 33 installed on the phase/amplitude control devices 7A and 7B, respectively, control the phase shifters 30 and modulators 31 and keep to the set values the phase and amplitude of the high frequency signals supplied to the cavity 3 via the high frequency transmission paths 8A and 8B, respectively.
