PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which enables an incorporated storage device to be sufficiently used among a plurality of users by including discrimination information of a plurality of users in management information of a program to be recorded. SOLUTION: With respect to a broadcast signal recorder having a control part 17 which performs such control that a broadcast signal is received in accordance with a recording instruction from a user, which is accompanied with user discrimination information, and reception information is recorded in a storage part 16, management information (Figure 5) related to the program recorded in the storage device 16 is recorded in a memory 18 in relation to the user discrimination information, and management information is displayed in relation to the user discrimination information and is utilized. Thus a plurality of users can efficiently record, reproduce, and delete programs while recognizing and considering the use conditions of each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
