PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile apparatus which FAXes image data of a transmitted document recorded in another terminal at a request for polling reception. SOLUTION: A modem 4 when receiving a signal requesting polling reception acquires image data of the transmitted data stored in the terminal such as a PC from a communication interface 6 through a network line. Then the image data are stored in an image memory 8 and when communication becomes ready, the modem 4 sends the image data. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
