he invention relates to a mechanism designed to join the canvas and the metal surface of an awning with their horizontal support pipes so that in a few minutes, without assistance of technicians skilled in the art or tools, the canvas or the metal support thereof is inexpensively removed for being cleaned and repaired. The upper horizontal stationary support pipe 2 has needle-like points 6,7,8, or toothed wheels 11, or other velcro-type attaching means 9,10,13,14,15,16 for the fixing of the canvas. At one complete rotation of the pipe, the canvas or the metal surface thereof and the upper horizontal stationary support pipe of the awning 2 are fixedly joined together in such a way that they are incapable of being separated. The lower horizontal moving support pipe of the awning 3 is connected to the arms 1 by means of screws and butterfly-type nuts 5 accomodating the easy separation of the arms. |
