The device has two mutually coaxial, radially separate machine parts in a free- wheel belt pulley (2), preferably inner and outer rings (11,12), at least one roller bearing (10) in an annular gap (5) between them and at least one free-wheel coupling. Two axially offset free-wheel devices (8,9) are arranged in the annular gap in an annular plane with opposing working principles, each with rotation direction dependent locking and free-wheel functions.
