<p>A hoist for safe lifting of heavy loads, e.g. masonry blocks, heavy plants such as trees etc., has four chains secured to an upper lifting frame using rings (b). Securing hooks (d) are positioned near the top rings and additional hooks (f) are positioned partway down the chain lengths. The ends of the chain are positioned around the load and the free ends are secured to the lower hooks. Plastic sleeving (h) protects all or part of the chain system.</p> |
