Facing layers may be of thermoplastics with different melting points and are permanently thermoplastically joined to the thermoplastic honeycomb core. Facing layers may have different thicknesses and can be reinforced(14). Edge closures(15) may also be reinforced. Cores can be two or more honeycomb plates bonded or welded together.
