Device for measurement of the torque and rotational velocity of rotating components (2, 12), especially for measurement of torques or rotational velocities of driven rotating shafts, the shafts of which are linked over meshing gear wheels (3, 4). The teeth (5) of one gear wheel are inserted into matching gaps in the other gear wheel. A sensor (9) is arranged above the gear wheels and detects rotation of one of the teeth, generating an output signal that is evaluated by analysis electronics.
