PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition which can be perfectly burnt when incinerating, suppresses generation of harmful substances when incineration and suffers from no undesirable coloration often caused when a specific iron oxide is incorporated, and a molded product thereof. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises a thermoplastic resin and, incorporated therewith, a particulate combustion accelerator comprising 0.001-0.2 wt.% of a platinum group element and 0.01-2 wt.% of cerium carried on an inorganic carrier in such an amount that the concentration of the platinum group element is 0.1-100 ppm.
