According to an embodiment of the present invention, an engine system having coolant control valve has a pipe structure whose both ends are open, comprising: a cylindrical valve formed in a position wherein a coolant passage is set up to pass through a coolant from one side of an inner peripheral to an outer peripheral; a valve housing arranged in the inside to rotate the cylindrical valve, and connected to connection pipes corresponding to the coolant passage; a valve driving unit wherein the coolant passage of the cylindrical value corresponds to the connection pipe to rotate the cylindrical valve, and arranged on one end of the valve housing to connect the connection pipe and the coolant passage; a pump housing which corresponds to an open part of the cylindrical valve and arranged on an other end of the cylindrical valve, and is combined with the valve housing in which a pump impeller is arranged inside; and a pump discharge line connected to the pump housing such that the pump driving unit arranged to rotate the pump impeller and the coolant pumped by the pump impeller are transmitted to a cylinder block. The present invention is designed to provide an engine system having a coolant control valve which is advantageous in rapid changes in water temperature by installing a coolant control valve in the coolant inlet of an engine, thereby improving a degree of precision of temperature control and simplifying the layout of a cooling system through a combination structure of a valve housing and a pump housing. |
