<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system for quickly introducing the EGR gas into an internal-combustion engine. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system for introducing the EGR gas to the internal-combustion engine simply and quickly comprises a pump, tank, and valve which are coupled with the engine, and the invention includes also a method to implement this system. The exhaust gas is pressurized by the pump under the specified operating condition and stored in the tank.
