The present invention relates to a flameproofing method of a medium-density fiberboard to which a veneer is attached or plywood, and more specifically to a flameproofing method of a medium-density fiberboard to which a veneer is attached or plywood capable of guaranteeing flameproof performance in case of fire and suppressing generation of toxic gas by comprising: a first step of coating a flameproof adhesive on one surface of a medium-density fiberboard (MDF) or plywood; a second step of attaching a veneer to the one surface of the MDF or plywood coated with the flameproof adhesive; a third step of bonding the MDF or plywood with the veneer by locating the MDF to which a veneer is attached or plywood between heating plates of a press, bonding and drying the MDF or plywood with the veneer by heating up the heating plates of the press with pressure; a fourth step of polishing the one surface of the veneer bonded with the MDF or plywood using sandpaper; and a fifth step of forming a coated film by coating a pigment on the one surface of the polished veneer.
