<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and easily evaluate the performance of toner after printing without performing a printing durability test. <P>SOLUTION: By performing a heating test, the performance of the toner is evaluated based on the ratio of the electrified amount of the toner obtained before the heating test to that obtained after the heating test. The durability of the toner is more accurately evaluated by holding a heating test condition for 5 to 10 hours within the temperature range of 40 to 60°C. Besides, the toner excellent in durability is accurately evaluated by setting a condition satisfying a following expression (1) as the reference of the evaluation of the performance of the toner.
