PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge a melt from a waste gasification melting furnace without sticking to a refractory. SOLUTION: In this melt discharge method of the waste gasification melting furnace, a water granulation tank 3 is arranged under a residue outlet port 2 of the waste gasification melting furnace 1, and the melt in the waste gasification melting furnace 1 is directly discharged into the water granulation tank 3 from the residue outlet port 2. The replaceable refractory is arranged in a part for discharging the melt by going along a furnace body from the residue outlet port 2, and a melt scraping-off pusher 6 is arranged for scraping off the melt on the refractory 5.
