PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely select the same fence body at a place, where a sensor is installed, and a place, where the sensor need not be mounted. SOLUTION: The fence has a fence body 2 with a coping 3, a panel strip 4, the sensor 5 and an alarm device 6. The coping 3 has a mounting groove 31 in the longitudinal direction of a top face. The sensor 5 is composed of a base material 51 installed along the longitudinal direction of the mounting groove 31 for the coping 3, a cover material 52 mounted on the top face of the base material 51 in a freely vertically movable manner along the longitudinal direction of the base material 51, a switch 54 arranged between the base material 51 and the cover material 52 and an urging member 53 being arranged between the base material 51 and the cover material 52 and urging the cover material 52 at an upper place at all times. The alarm device 6 is set up so as to be operated by turning the switch 54 on when the cover material 52 is pushed and moved downwards, and either of the sensor 5 or the panel strip 4 is secured freely into the mounting groove 31 for the coping 3.
