PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect abrasion quantity of a clutch disk to inform a driver. SOLUTION: This clutch device for connecting/disconnecting the torque from a fly wheel of a vehicle is provided with a clutch disk assembly 3, a clutch cover assembly 2 and an abrasion limit alarm device 71. The clutch disk assembly 3 has a clutch disk 4 provided near the fly wheel 2. In the clutch cover assembly 2, a clutch cover 21 is fixed to the fly wheel 2. A pressure plate 22 is connected to the clutch cover 21 so that the pressure disk 22 is integrally rotated with the clutch cover 21 and freely to move in the axial direction and faces to the clutch disk 4. A diaphragm spring 27 is supported by the clutch cover 21, and gives the pushing force to the pressure plate 22. The abrasion limit alarm device 71 has a sensor 73 for detecting an axial directional position of the pressure plate 22 displaced with abrasion of the clutch disk 4 and an alarm lamp 76 for generating an abrasion limit alarm on the basis of a result of the detection.
