A method for simulation of a technical system uses a specially designed cache memory (35) from which auxiliary values (H1, H2) of an auxiliary function (25) are read out if actual call parameters (s1, s2, s'1, s'2) match the corresponding values stored in memory. The invention also relates to a corresponding simulator that includes an inventive cache memory.
