<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement structure for reducing weight and improving braking force of a disc brake inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: A cylinder portion 31 is formed at an intermediate portion in a radial direction of a rotating side flange disposed on a peripheral face of a hub 8a. An outer diameter side circular ring portion 33 disposed to a portion close to an outer diameter of the rotating side flange 13a is disposed to be closer to the axially inside compared with an inner diameter side circular ring portion 32 disposed to a portion closer to an inner diameter. A circular-ring- like rotor 2 made of carbon-carbon composite material is supported to allow slight displacement in the axial direction.
