CABLE STAYED BRIDGE AND ITS CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable stayed bridge constructible by simple construction work, and its construction method. SOLUTION: This cable stayed bridge 1 is suspended and supported by inclined cables 5 by arranging a main beam 3 on an oppositely erected main tower 4. The main beam 3 is composed of side beams 6 oppositely arranged at a proper interval on the main tower 4, and a floorboard 7 continuously arranged over between side beams 6. The side beams 6 are characterized by joining segments 8 and 9 with a steel frame 13 as a core material, and imparting prestress.
