<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory card in which security in recording/reading of data to/from a flash memory can be improved. <P>SOLUTION: In a cipher processing part 210 for transfer of a digital equipment 200, an application A is encrypted by using a session key and transferred to a memory card 100. The application A transferred from the digital equipment 200 is decrypted by using a session key in a cipher processing part 111 for transfer of the memory card 100. The decrypted application A is temporarily stored in a buffer RAM 112. The application A stored in the buffer RAM 112 is encrypted by using a storage key A in a cipher processing part 113 for storage and transferred to a flash memory 120.
