PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a description structure of a pattern paper capable of affording a drawing, etc., of a pattern of sewing pattern paper for clothes with the pattern paper having a smaller number of pages, printing the pattern paper converted into an electronic file with a printer in a short time, readily cutting out the pattern with scissors, etc., and facilitating the tracing of pattern lines and thereby easily restoring a figure of the pattern for sewing on a cloth or simili paper. SOLUTION: The overwriting pattern paper is obtained by dividing a figure 2 of the large-sized drawing 1 into sections according to the size of a description region 5 of a small-sized pattern paper 4 and overwriting the pattern lines 8 of the figure 2 of each section in full scale in the description region 5 of the small-sized pattern paper 4. The description region 5 is cut out along a band display 10 displayed in the description region 5 or a cutout line 9 with the scissors, etc., and transferred according to tracing order identification symbols 13, etc., additionally marked for tracing the pattern lines 8 of the pattern.
