PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid drawing material which has good color-developing properties while having sufficient strengthes in practical use. SOLUTION: This solid drawing material is prepared by using at least 2-30 wt.% (based on the material) calcium carbonate having amino groups attached to the particle surface thereof and, if necessary, by using a known body selected from among talc, kaolin, magnesium carbonate, magnesium sulfate, fibrous substances, etc., a binder selected from among clay, synthetic resins, etc., and a colorant selected from among dyes, inorganic pigments, organic pigments, metallic pigments, inorganic fluorescent pigments, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
