A system for mixing impression materials for dental use and the like, comprising mixing units (2), which are interchangeable and reusable and are filled at the appropriate time with part of the components to be mixed, particularly the components in powder form or the gelatinous components; the mixing units are used when necessary, one at a time, in an apparatus (6, 15) that automatically adds thereto the necessary fluid components, mixes all the components by moving the rotary agitator (1) with which the mixing unit (2) is provided, opens the outlet of the unit, and expels from it all of the compound by acting on a plunger, which also belongs to the mixing unit and is capable of freeing of any residue the agitators and the entire mixing chamber (2). <IMAGE> |
