PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for securing a molded article while maintaining insulating performance over a long period of time without deteriorating the properties of the elastomer molded article which excels in mechanical strengths, heat resistance, resistance to moist heat, and resistance to hydrolysis, and in addition, excels in electrical insulating properties. SOLUTION: This method for securing the polyester molded article composed of a material containing (A) 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester elastomer and (B) 1-30 pts.wt. rubbery polymer comprises using a securing member having a Zn content at the part with which at least the molded article is brought into contact of≤1 wt.% to effect securing.
