PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working method for repairing a crack without impairing the appearance of a building, leaving no stain on a crack face after removing an adhesive for a washer and a cover material. SOLUTION: In this construction method for repairing the crack by constructing the cover material at a crack repair part on a wall surface of concrete or the like and then injecting an injection material composition, a crack repairing pretreatment agent composed mainly of a water-soluble polymer selected out of one or two kinds of starch-based polymers is applied to the construction part before the construction of the cover material.
