ATMOSPHERE CLEANING TREATMENT DEVICE BY DIFFUSION SCRUBBER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an atmosphere cleaning treatment device with a high circulation efficiency at a low cost in which an energy consumption is less and which can be continuously used.

SOLUTION: This atmosphere cleaning treatment device by the diffusion scrubber method has a pair of parallel plates opposed to each other in parallel and allowing the contaminated air to flow in a narrow gap, allowing a particle having a small diffusion coefficient to pass through the parallel plates as such and discharging it from an exit of the parallel plates, so that the harmful gas component in the contaminated air diffused to inner wall surfaces of the parallel plates is removed/treated. A coating layer comprising a photocatalyst is provided on the inner wall surfaces of the parallel plates to irradiate the gap with light. This removal/treatment device is preferably used such that it is auxiliarily provided on an air flow passage of an air conditioner or a gas flow passage of an exhaust gas treatment device. It can also be used as a portable air cleaning device at a general home.
