<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the appearance of the barrel of a writing utensil variety-rich by two-color molding, in the barrel used in the writing utensil. <P>SOLUTION: The inner barrel part is molded using one kind of synthetic resin 37 selected between the two different kinds of synthetic resins and then an outer barrel part is formed on the outside of the inner barrel part, using the other kind of synthetic resin 36 to obtain a cylindrical barrel.
