<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method for material-recycling waste plastics without using a surfactant, wherein higher cleaning effect than that with water is obtained, and also to provide a cleaning apparatus therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The cleaning method for use in material-recycling the waste plastics is characterized in that the waste plastics is cleaned by spraying vapor, or by spraying pressurized hot water of more than 100°C. Further, it is more effective if the waste plastics is dried while being destaticized. The cleaning apparatus for this use is provided with a cleaning tank for the waste plastics and a nozzle for introducing the vapor or the pressurized hot water for cleaning into the cleaning tank, and is characterized in that the cleaning tank is rotatable and has a dehydration function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
