PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly slide a seat plate in a chair provided with a longitudinally slidable seat while ensuring the fitting property of the seat plate to the body. SOLUTION: The seat plate 48 is supported by both lateral edges of an intermediate support body 4 formed in a wing shape laterally extended in a front view of the chair. Mail rail parts 47 are formed in the intermediate support body 4, and female rail parts 50 are formed on both lateral edges of the seat plate 48. Further, a slide promoter 45 consisting of a resin having a small friction resistance as POM resin is installed to each female rail part 50. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
