PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating a plant by using bottles by which a low-cost three-dimensional flower bed having high generality for home use or use for public facilities can be obtained by effectively utilizing the bottles of waste materials, and to provide a tool usable therefor. SOLUTION: Bottles of which the bottoms are cut off are hung from a holder so that the neck parts may be lower, and plants are planted and cultivated in the bottles. The tool usable for the method has a supporting member for supporting the neck part of the bottle so as to protrude the neck part, and a hooking part for attaching the supporting member to the holder. The supporting member is obtained by connecting the first supporting part for supporting the outer periphery of the body part in a state in which the bottle can be taken in and out, and the second supporting part through which the neck part of the bottle is passed, and which supports the shoulder part from the lower part in the upper and lower direction.
