<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for pickling and refining a hot-rolled sheet and for realizing production of a strip having good quality in a single process having high productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for pickling and refining the hot-rolled sheet is constituted of (1) an uncoiler, (2) a shearing machine at the inlet side, (3) an edge cutting device, (4) a pickling device, (5) a pressing type stress-giving device having no restricting force in the width direction of the strip, (6) an inspection table, (7) a flying shearing device at the outlet side and (8) a coiler. Then, a defective part is cut off and removed based on the inspection result, and the strip already pickled composed of only good quality portion is produced in the single process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
