PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple daily newspaper binder having a light weight and easy handling. SOLUTION: The newspaper binder comprises a sandwiching unit 2 constituted of a plastic molded product for forming a rounded protrusion at an inside of a channel 1, and fixedly mounted at both ends of the channel. A newspaper binding rod is brought into contact with a center of a newspaper 4, folded, moved in a direction of an arrow of [Fig. 1], and a back of the newspaper is inserted into the channel. The rod 3 is pressed to the centers of the rounded protrusions of both the sides, press injected so that the rod is retained at three points of the rounded protrusions of upper left and right sides and a bottom side of the channel, snugly fixed, and the newspaper is also simultaneously fixed.
