PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter cleaning device for an air conditioner which cleans many filters in a short period of time and includes an effective cleaning process with little deterioration by cleaning and a process that can easily process waste water in a short period of time. SOLUTION: This device for cleaning stained filters 22 of air conditioning equipment, etc., is provided with a filter insertion frame 24 for directly inserting the filters 22, a drive unit 26 for carrying the filter insertion frame 24 upward/ downward, a cleaning vessel 28 for storing cleaning liquid, a vibrator 34 for vibrating the filter insertion frame 24 in order to clean the filters 22, and a rinsing device 30 for rinsing the filters 22. The device is further provided with a bar-like body 44 that goes through the grid holes of top and bottom faces of the filter insertion frame 24 almost vertically and has bending for pushing the filters to deform the filters when the filter insertion frame 24 is carried.
